An optional thumb rest is included with your recorder but has not been attached to the instrument. For your convenience in playing this recorder, you may choose to attach the optional thumb rest where it is most comfortable for you. We recommend attaching the optional thumb rest, using a good quality glue, only after you've played the instrument for a while and know exactly where you will get the most benefit from using the thumb rest.
