There are four parts to cover, and the publisher provides sheet music for a variety of instruments for each part. Here's what comes with this set: Conductor Score; Part 1 in C (treble clef); Part 1 for Clarinet; Part 1 for Alto Saxophone; Part 2 in C (treble clef); Part 2 for Clarinet; Part 2 for Alto Saxophone; Part 3 in C; Part 3 for Clarinet; Part 3 for Tenor Saxophone; Part 3 for Viola; Part 3 for French Horn; Part 4 in C (bass clef); Part 4 for Bass Clarinet; Piano.
If you have all four parts covered, the piano part is optional, but will make an unusual instrumentation sound better if it is used. If you're missing a part (or two!) you can use the piano to fill in the missing notes, and you still have a great sound.
