Essential Elements Movie Favorites - Trombone
Here's a great book full of really neat songs. Arranged for instrumental solo, this book can also be performed with a full band (parts are included for that, too!). This is one of the books that we use with nearly all of our beginning (first and second year) private students here in our studios. The arrangements are really good, and there is a CD accompaniment available. Our students enjoy this book, and we highly recommend it!

"Moments Of Swing" is a fun collection of original songs presented in the styles of jazz, Latin, and swing. Each of the ten songs is largely based on the chord charts of well-known jazz standards from composers such as George Gershwin, Miles Davis, Cole Porter, and Antonio Carlos Jobim. Creating new melodies for existing charts is a composition technique often used by jazz musicians. This technique offers students of this book the opportunity to improve their skills at improvising to chord charts of well-known standards.
